Issue #52 • November 14, 2025
Hi Seedradar Squad! This week delivered two undeniable truths: the race to dominate AI software development is ultra-hot, and the battle for AI infrastructure is escalating into an unprecedented spending war. Cursor secured a massive funding round that solidified its multi-billion-dollar valuation.
This capital surge was mirrored by Anthropic and Meta, which collectively pledged hundreds of billions of dollars toward building dedicated AI data center capacity. Meanwhile, OpenAI kept pace on the software front by releasing the GPT-5.1 series, focused on making its models smarter through adaptive reasoning.

🤖 Cursor Secures $2.3 Billion Series D at $29.3 Billion Valuation
Code-generation startup Cursor nearly tripled its valuation in five months after raising $2.3 billion in a Series D funding round, highlighting intense investor interest in AI development platforms. The San Francisco-based company’s valuation rose from $9.9 billion in June to $29.3 billion.
The round was co-led by Coatue and Accel, with participation from strategic investors Nvidia and Alphabet’s Google. The company has surpassed $1 billion in annualized revenue and saw sales-led revenue increase 100-fold since early 2025.
🤖 Anthropic Invests $50 Billion in American AI Infrastructure
Anthropic announced a $50 billion investment in American computing infrastructure, building data centers with Fluidstack in Texas and New York, with more sites planned through 2026.
This massive commitment is necessary to support continued research and development at the frontier of AI, explicitly bolstering American competitiveness and aligning with the Trump administration’s AI Action Plan
